The Wonder of Fall | Fall Mini Sessions | Cleveland Ohio | Northeast Ohio

This years fall colors really have been quite beautiful. Add on the warm weather with the gold, yellow and red leaves and it made for the perfect fall in September and October. These two months are also a favorite month of mine to hold my fall mini sessions. What are fall mini sessions compared to regular sessions? Throughout the year I always hold a regular and petite session for those who are in need of shots. Those sessions are typical 1 hour or 30 minutes for the petite. They can often be 1 hour before sunset and are less rushed more fun and creative with the family.

However, my mini sessions which are only offered a few times a year are 20 minute sessions and scheduled in blocks of time. So they are a bit more rushed and more quick photos (a little less time to be super creative). But they are perfect for those who only want a few updated photos of the family or have little kids who they know won't sit still for longer than 20 minutes. My minis always have a full gallery sent of 25 images and you have the option to choose your favorite 10 images.

Red Truck Mini Sessions | Fall Photography | Cleveland, Ohio | Lake County Ohio

Nothing says fall like brightly colored leaves, crisp air, apples and a bright red antique truck! My red truck minis this year were so much for the fall season and gave my clients a little something different this time. The red truck was decked out in pumpkins, pillows, mums and blankets, the perfect set for some quick fall photos. My special mini session are only held a few times throughout the year. They are usually a special themed event such as red truck, pumpkin farm, local park and Christmas tree farm. They are special since I usually bring more props and decor with the shoot along with a special theme. Lifestyle Newborn Photography! Newborn photography session that focuses on more lifestyle candid photos of how life takes place naturally in the comforts of your own home. My areas of choice to shoot while in your home is the nursery, master bedroom and living room. If you would still like a nice selection of traditional newborn photos all I need is a nice small area close to window.

The lifestyle session includes a 2-3 hour in home session. I bring all of my newborn accessories and props to you as well. Also includes 50 high resolution images with copyright plus 8x8 custom photo book. I'm a strong believer that photos need to be printed and not left on a computer.

Fall Mini Photography Sessions | Cleveland, Ohio | Lake County, Ohio

Its that time of year again with the cooler temps, leaves changing and shorter days. Even though I really love summer and that will always be my favorite time of year. There is something about the start and feel of the fall and holiday season. For me it also starts the busy my busy Family Photography Session season. I am usually busy all year round with newborns, milestone and family photography. The fall is my favorite time to host a few mini photography sessions. I only do about 3-4 per year and its a great time for families who only want a few pictures and a quick session. What is a Mini Session? And how is it different than a regular family session?

My regular family sessions can be booked at anytime throughout the year. I am always happy to work with the family picking the best day, location and of course outfits for their photoshoot. With my regular family sessions there is one price and in that price it comes with 50-60 digital images with copyright. The family also gets to choose any location they would prefer. Urban, beach, park or even their own home is an option.

My Mini Sessions are only done a few times during the year. The date and location is chosen by myself. The session is only 20 minutes and the family usually receives 10-12 digital images with the option to purchase more. Are the minis meant to replace a full family session. Not usually… There is no way I can photograph in 20 minutes what I would normally shoot in a full 1 -1 1/2 hour session. The minis are short and sweet but nice for families who like to get pictures done every year:)

For my Fall 2019 Mini Photography Sessions I am booked for October. I have a couple openings for a full regular family session. I will be announcing my Christmas Tree Farm Mini Sessions soon. Sunflower Mini Photography Sessions | Avon, Ohio | Maria's Field of Hope

Maria’s field of Hope is the Prayers from Maria Foundation first planted the Sunflower field in 2014 to gracefully draw attention to the lack of funding for childhood cancer.  The field was inspired by the memory and spirit of Maria McNamara, planted as a way to love and honor the courageous children who are battling cancer and those we have lost. The field is located in Avon, Ohio and is really a beautiful and heartbreaking atmosphere at the same time. The field itself is very beautiful with its acreage of sunflowers spreading for miles. However at the same time, each field is lined with yellow signs and pictures of precious children that have either lost there battle with cancer or currently in the middle of battling cancer.

I started offering mini photography session at Maria’s field for families to celebrate and take in the beauty of the field. I also am happy to donate 50% of my earning to Maria’s foundation in order to help find a cure for Childhood cancer. 2018 might have marked that last time the sunflower field will take place in Avon, Ohio.

I am hopefully Maria’s foundation will find another plot of land and continue this amazing foundation they have started.

Cleveland Child Photographer | First Birthday Photography

We had the perfect weather and perfect setting to celebrate and little boy’s first birthday! The family really wanted to create fall theme first birthday. We are very lucky in Lake County, Ohio to have many beautiful parks that create beautiful backdrops.

This park had a red barn, open meadow and pond which was perfect to get us all in the fall mood! This park is located in Concord Township, Ohio not far from outside of Mentor, Ohio.

My first birthday milestone sessions can be customized outdoor shoots or the traditional indoor shoots. My indoor first birthday shoots are usually with backdrops with a cake smash option. The outdoor sessions can be customized or even themed for the your little boy or girl.
